Please note that each of the fonts are shown using a 20pt font size. Their size varies due to the way that their height and width interact:

Height:
The font's perceived height for a given size is a function of the way the font shapes extend upwards (capital letters, letters like h, d, t, k, etc.) and the "tails" on other letters (y, g, Q, etc.). A font's height is calculated from the lowest point, to the highest point, so the font will appear smaller or larger depending on how much it "swoops".
Width:
The font width is affected by the way the height affects the rendering, but some fonts are designed with wider or narrower than "normal" letters.

This needs to be kept in mind with choosing the font for a given stencil size, as the lettering to fit a specified area will appear larger or smaller based on the font's design.
